1 Month

Eli is 1 month old today. I can honestly say I don't know where the time has gone. I love being his mommy and can't imagine my life without him. It has taken some getting used to- for sure- but I love my little guy SO much. He is eating every 2-3 hours during the day and about every 3 at night. Last night, for some reason he was fussy in the evening and didn't go to sleep until 1 am. Well to our surprise he didn't wake up until 6 am. What a nice surprise! I am not expecting the same result tonight, but it sure was nice to sleep a consecutive 5 hours!

Our cute little Eli.

BIG yawn!

Enough pictures, Mom!

Tuckered out from all of Mom's pictures.

Happy 1 month, Eli! We love you!

Happy Tuesday

Tonight Eli was especially smiley and interactive. This was the best picture I could get. Hope it brightens your day like it did mine. :)

2 Week Stats

On Wednesday we took Eli for his 2 week appointment. He weighed 7 lbs 13 oz (so he had gained a pound since birth) 23rd percentile. He measured 20.9 inches (he was 18.5 inches at birth) 56th percentile. And his head circumference was 14.9- 65th percentile (I have no idea what it was at birth).

The same day we went to the doctor, we also went on our first family walk. It was a beautiful day and these are the two pictures of the event.

Eli's Favorite Cousins

Our nephews and nieces weren't allowed to come into the hospital room to meet Eli after he was born, so they all came to meet him within the last week. They were all so sweet with him.

Rhett- he said Eli was "cool".

Leah and her mommy. She didn't want to hold Eli, but I'm sure she'll be smothering him with kisses soon enough.

Trey & Grandma- he's not quite big enough to hold Eli. :) But he sure is cute!

Kyson- his expression is priceless.
Megan, Drew and Tyler- they were all so sweet with Eli. Love this picture.

Christmas Morning

This video was taken a week ago, but it is just so sweet I have to share. This is our little guy talking to his mommy. He was 5 days old when this was taken.
